The Infernal Castle, also known as the Impious Castle, is the third castle in the game and a stark contrast to the Opulent Castle. While the Opulent Castle is beautiful and well-decorated, the Infernal Castle is tattered and in ruins.

AREAS

Main Corridor: Skeleton Corridor, a hallway built using the bones of Dracula's many victims, human and animal alike. music: “Skeleton Den” from HoDiss.
southwest buildings (odds): Heretic's Shrine. A ruined church; a contrast to the Royal Chapel. music: “Approach of Deplore” from HoDiss.
Courtyard: Grounded Ship, which sits within a dried lakebed. music: “Anxiety” from Cv3. boss: Dullahan?
southeast buildings
- secret area (ninja courtyard): The Pit. A cavernous area filled with noxious gases and strange creatures. boss: Forgotten One.
northwest buildings
northern buildings (30s)
center building/annex (13): Prison. This area is teased when first reached, and can only be fully accessed from Olrox's Quarters in the Last Castle, as he is the elegant vampire who enslaves, imprisons, and tortures his victims.

Villa (12/24): Carmilla's Quarters, home to one of Dracula's fellow vampires and top lieutenants. It appears as a small village whose victims have been sucked dry or frozen in fear. music: “Abandoned Pit” from SotN.

Laboratory: Laboratory of Forbidden Knowledge
Tower: Isolation Tower. music: custom music that incorporates “Condemned Tower” from DoS. boss: Gergoth.
Arena: Arena of Illusions. Unlike the rest of this castle, this area stands out as being in very good condition, at first. But going through any door transition transfers to a state in which this same area is run-down and in ruins. Door transitions will alternate between the two versions of this area. Multiple items are teased but inaccessible in one version of the area and can only be obtained in the other version. music: “The Trick Manor” a.k.a. “Clockwork Mansion” from CotM (dual mix of “Rotating Room” and “Spinning Tale” from SCv4). Boss: Paranoia, beating whom grants you the Mirror of Alternatives, allowing at-will dimension-hopping between the two versions of this area.
Tunnel: Frozen Hell. (how ironic.) music: “Sector 5 (ARC)” from Metroid Fusion, or maybe “Underground Reservoir” from AoS?
Underground Waterway
Sky Walkway: music: “Chapel of Dissonance” from HoDiss.
Power Plant: on top, the Haunted Carnival, a place filled with the creatures of the night having fun. (Inspired by Donkey Kong Country 2's carnival and haunted roller coaster areas.) music: “Rainbow Cemetery” from SotN. Journeying through this area grants access to a nondescript hatchway in the ground that leads to a stairway down to the Catacombs, which features a veritable library of human remains as far as the eye can see, and an eerily quiet atmosphere devoid of enemies. music: “Wrecked Ship” from Super Metroid. boss: Legion (including Nuculais), who, as you might imagine, drops many, many bodies.
