opulent_castle

The second castle in the game. This castle is characterized by ostentation, fanciness, lots of ornate decorations, and other displays of wealth. Exploring this castle brings one to a warp to the Infernal Castle somewhere in the western part of the castle.

  • industrial building: Heavenly Atlantis, a beautiful area with natural scenery, in contrast to the industrial look of this area in other castles. music: “The Sinking Old Sanctuary” from Bloodlines (probably).
  • Villa (12/24): Bianca's Quarters, named after a vampire queen a friend of mine came up with. music: “Wood-Carving Partita” from SotN.

  • second hallway: Marketplace. music: “The Arena” from AoS.
  • triangle building: Moonlight Cabaret and Dancing Skeleton Club. music: “Aquarius” from CotM.
  • Library: The Castle Theater, a place of exaggerated drama and comedy. music: “Swinging Chandeliers” from SCv4. boss: Blackmore.
  • Laboratory: The Ballroom, a place where ghost dancers glide elegantly. music: “Dance Hall” from AoS.
  • Tower: [tower currently unnamed]. atop the tower is the Planetarium, which enjoys the “Planetarium” fanfare from Cv64.
  • Arena: Battle Arena.
  • Tunnel: Tunnel of Mystery, which looks somewhat like a storage tunnel for fancy occasions and wealthy diversions. music: “Door to the Abyss” from SotN.
  • Underground Waterway: Underground Waterway. music: “The Cave” from SCv4.
  • Sky Walkway: Path in the Heavens. music: “Floating Gardens” from AoS.
  • Power Plant: Lair of the Mastermind, a futuristic-looking area with cool blues, inspired by Eli Damaskinos's lair from Blade II. music: “Crystal Teardrops” from SotN.
